چکیده

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with complex pathogenesis involving the interaction between innate and adaptive immune systems. The release of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) by keratinocytes, particularly LL-37 peptides, plays crucial role in initiation psoriatic inflammation. activation dendritic cells distinct T-cell subsets, Th1 Th17, leads to formation scaly plaques psoriasis. Although most cases are treated topical or systemic medications, severe forms such as pustular psoriasis arthritis may require surgical management. Surgical procedures aim relieve symptoms, improve function, minimize scarring cosmetic deformities. However, patients at higher risk post-surgical infections stress trigger flare-ups. Thus, meticulous wound care psychological support essential for optimal outcomes.
